Our read

This GORE-TEX version of the Agility Peak 6 is a protective, rugged trail shoe aimed at runners who need waterproofing and grip in poor conditions. With a 38-30mm stack, 8mm drop, 5mm lugs and a rock plate, it prioritizes underfoot protection over speed, and at 308g it is on the heavier side. Note that most claims here come from the manufacturer; independent ride and durability testing is absent.

Ride

FloatPro foam midsole with FLEXconnect flex-grooves gives a cushioned, ground-connected ride; firmness not independently verified.

Fit

Padded collar and bellows tongue for debris protection; a wide-width option exists separately. GORE-TEX Invisible Fit construction lines the upper.

Best for

Runners tackling wet, muddy or rugged trails who want waterproof protection, aggressive Vibram Megagrip traction and rock-plate defense against sharp terrain.

Avoid if

You want a lightweight, fast shoe or run mostly in hot, dry conditions where a GORE-TEX upper would trap heat.
