Our read

A plush, propulsive ultra-distance racer for runners who want maximum foam and a carbon pop underfoot on non-technical terrain. The high, soft stack is its defining trait — and its limitation on steep, technical ground.

Ride

Soft, forgiving underfoot with a dual-density PEBA/EVA chassis and a forked carbon plate that adds propulsion. Vibram Megagrip with a moderate 3.5mm lug handles smooth trail and gravel better than steep or technical terrain.

Fit

Runs true to size but the toe box is narrow, and it's only offered in a standard width. Some runners report trouble getting a secure heel lock.

Best for

Long-haul trail and ultra efforts on smooth trail and gravel where you want maximum cushioning to spare your legs.

Avoid if

You run steep, technical, or muddy terrain, or you have wider feet, since the tall soft stack and narrow standard-only fit work against you.
